What kind of gas is used in Bio balloons?

Bio balloons are meant to be used with helium gas only. Helium is safe because it is non-combustible, tasteless, odourless, and nontoxic. Anyone could use it without any special experience.

How do you insert helium into Bio balloons?

Because helium is difficult to insert directly from the tank, we at white dove balloons recommend that you use a pressure regulator to control the pressure at which the helium leaves the tank. With a pressure regulator anyone can inflate balloons these can be inflated at any balloon shops (approx 0.30pence a balloon) or at any venue which normally have their own helium tank

How long does it take to inflate white dove balloons?

Provided that you are using a tank equipped with a pressure regulator, the inflation times for our white dove balloons is around 20 seconds

Do white dove balloons burst when helium is inserted into them?

When inflating a balloon, the balloon will take on its shape and begin to slowly float. That signals that there is a sufficient amount of helium in the balloon. If too much helium is inserted into the balloon, part of the balloon will abnormally expand and a short puffing sound will be heard meaning that the balloon has been ruptured. Unlike with conventional rubber balloons, a pop sound will not be heard. Ruptured balloons will not float, so please dispose of them properly.

If we plan on releasing many white dove balloons at once, how should we keep them together until the release?

We recommend keeping each balloon tied to a long rope until its release.
White dove balloons are equipped with a paper string that can be tied to the rope. When the time comes for releasing the balloons, the fastest way is to cut the paper strings from the rope using scissors.

How long will white dove balloons float for when tied to the rope?

We recommend that White dove balloons stay grounded for no longer than 8 hours. Though the average float time for white dove balloons is 20 hours,

About Releasing Balloons

How fast do white dove balloons rise up into air?

Unlike rubber balloons, White dove balloons rise a lot more slowly. Although wind is also a factor

How long to white dove balloons float for?

After being inflated with helium, the balloons are known to float for more than 20 hours. Of course, the amount of time an inflated balloon on the rope has been grounded for should also be considered.

What happens when a white dove balloon falls to the ground?

When sunlight (UV rays) hit Bio balloons, the materials inside the balloons begin to decompose. Eventually the balloon will break down into water, carbon dioxide, and biomass.

How do I dispose of my disposable helium canister?

Just take the empty canister down to your local civic amenity site (skip) where it can be recycled.please ensure the helium canister is fully empty and the valve is in the open position.

What is the product made of?

The product is mainly made of polyolefin. (Polyolefin is the material that regular plastic bags are made from.) When Totally Degradable Plastic Additives is added to it, it becomes new material that breaks down when exposed to ultraviolet rays, heat, or physical stress until, finally, it decomposes into water, carbon dioxide, and biomass.

Can I attach a message to the balloon?

Yes you can but please make sure each message card weighs no more than two grammes. Perhaps a nicer thing would be to put some seeds in the balloon so when it eventually lands some seeds are sown. The seeds should be small in diameter, no more than 1mm. "babies breath" seeds would be nice to use.
